The Hawaiian Steel Guitar Association 2026 Festival brings its celebrated community of players and enthusiasts to Santa Cruz, California for a fun weekend of music, learning, and connection from October 22–24, 2026.
Hosted at Hotel Paradox, this year’s festival will honor the incredible music of Sol K. Bright, inspiring performances, workshops, and shared moments that celebrate the spirit and legacy of Hawaiian steel guitar.
I'll have multiple steel guitar showcases both at the hotel and at the Pono Hawaiian Grill!
Austin Steel Guitar Fest
I was honored and excited to be invited to join the large group of amazing steel guitarists from all over the world in Austin, TX, at the inaugural Austin Steel Guitar Fest ASGF, presented by steelradio.org and the the Steel Guitar Hall of Fame (SGHOF). "Get Under The Moon" is my fourth full-length multitrack solo record. It explores 1910s-1940s Hawaiian, Jazz, Novelty, Ragtime, and Global steel guitar and ukulele repertoire sourced from some of my favorite 78 RPM records.
